Citizen Canine is a non-profit network of individuals and organizations working together to promote and protect the interests of the dog-owning community in Greater Victoria. Our three areas of focus are advocacy, public education, and canine community building.
Our website offers dog owners current news, trends, events, issues and a forum where dog owners can find help from other dog owners and discuss hot topics. We broadcast lost pet alerts through our email network and provide a resource for anyone looking to adopt a pet. Please check it out, and join!
If you value the work we do and the services we provide, consider joining our free email network or, better yet, becoming an official Supporting Member of Citizen Canine Dog Owner's Association. The $20 annual membership fee is our primary source of income; all funds raised will go to support our work. You can use your card to access discounts at numerous pet stores right away. Your card also entitles you to vote during our annual AGM and the option of receiving a mailed copy of our newsetter "The Scoop". As with any organization, the more members we have, the stronger our voice will be.
