Can anyone in the Houston, TX area care for 4 small healthy newborn kittens (about 3-4 days old). They are so strong and cute! I found them abondoned in a construction site without a mother. You won't be adaopting them unless you want to, just fostering them until they are able to eat solid foods and use the litter (about 4-5 weeks). I am sure I can find great homes for them once they are a little older. I would do it myself but I am a full time student and have a full time job. They need constant care, love, feeding and warmth. If you are up to it, please call me at 713-816-2292.

Hi MC, thanks for caring about those poor little kittens.
Is there a Cat rescue in the area that might be able to help or give suggestions.
Otherwise it's a matter of friends, family, etc.
The only other suggestion I can give is for you to e mail the members in the Houston Texas area, there are quite a few and they might be willing and able to help.

Good Luck and please keep us posted.

Looking after kittens when they are so young can be VERY difficult.
You need to feed them every few hours, stimulate them to go to the bathroom, and make sure they are warm enough as they can't make their own warmth. Also if they are cold you CANNOT feed them or they will die. I know from experience.

You should hand them over to a rescue group, someone who knows what they are doing and have foster homes for them.

Good luck!
