If you lost your dog around the Scott Road SkyTrain Station in the last few weeks... and SHE is a black lab cross (staf, or other like type) with a lil white patch on her, please PLEASE contact me via petmail!
She's wonderful, full of energy, and I think was probably a stray for a short to longer time before being taken in. She's very well versed a garbage eating, though she may just "gabage pickingly gifted"..?
From what people said around the station, she'd been hanging around for a few days looking for hand outs, with not much luck. She's in good shape now, she's got food, water and a TEMPORARY place to hang..she loves sleeping in the bed and it would appear she's done so before.
She's ok with cats, but can be a bit overwhelming to an older shaggy dog that had a previous "run in" with a dog very much like her about a year ago.
I've called the spca, local vets etc, and have had no luck finding someone that will scan her for a mirco chip unless I surrender her to the spca...which I really would rather not do at this point.. I don't think she'd do well in there... but she needs to be scanned! ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT .. I can take her anywhere in the lower mainland on Saturday if they'll scan her for a chip. She has no tattoos, but does have the white patch or hair that stands out a bit...
I didn't find her, but I've said I would keep her over the weekend... the person that found her has found someone who is wanting to keep her ( but can't take her for a week).
I really want to make every effort to see if she already HAS a home before she's placed in a new home, so if you know of anyone missing their dog in the surrey area, or if you've seen, read etc about a lost dog like this, please PLEASE let me know!
I don't have any pictures because my computer crashed and I'm on an old one with no ability to upload pictures off a camera, but I'm working on getting pictures of her...somehow!

 Oh Loop, you really are an angel, so sweet of you to take in a pup and look after her yourself. I hope you find the owners of the pup, but then, if not, there's already someone more than willing to take her under there wing already. Awesome!! I wish there was more ppl like you out there.

YAHOO!! Her name was Boo, she's 11 months old, and she's HOME AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so very happy for her!! and thankful too, cause I was going to have to try and give her a bath tomorrow, and I don't think it would have been easy...haha
The owners contacted the spca, who gave them the contact info left and they were reunited a few hours later!
Is that not just the BEST NEWS EVER?!?!?!?!!! YAHOO BOO BOO!!!! :o)

Loop...That's great news.
Well done in being able to reunite Boo with her family.
You have just stored up more good karma with your willingness to help out that poor lost pup.
No doubt Twister will be happy to have his place all to himself again.

Awesome Loop! I bet Boo is happy to avoid the bath delima! Hehehehehe!! I'm so glad you were able to find the owners to Boo, or rather, they found you. That is really good news!

aw loop that is great! i am so happy that they found their little puppy and you have given her a warm bed and some food until she got to be with mom and dad again! congrats to you loop! **big hug** from Laura and Thayer to loop!
