We went to the pet expo today, it was GREAT! Almost everyone (BUT ME) had a dog with them...and a few cats...and a few bunnies too.. Twister didn't get to go...cause he would have overloaded within minutes...I really wish I could take him to things like that sometimes. AnyWHO, it was lots of fun...if anyone is looking for something fun to do tomorrow...you should go.. it's a great place to see ALOT of different dog breeds and talk to owners about the breed etc....great idea if you're considering a certain breed etc. I saw Ruddicat Cattery! I also met 4 GIANT SCHNAUZERS!! and a Saint Bernard, and greyhounds, and lots of other beautiful dogs!! and....I bought a few things for Twister too.. haha I was hoping to find a car hammock, but didn't...and I was hoping to find a coolbed ...but no luck...however, I got him a lil bit of bling....haha ..and I talked to the people at K9H2O... I so want to take Twister there, I'm just worried about his tolerance for people he doesn't know, and the cost a bit too...but I think he'd Really love it...ahh! but....no petsmo

Hey loop Thanks for the heads up. I went with Poohbear today. It was great and also saw the greyhounds and the german shorthair pointers etc. Pooh lasted almost 2 hours there. I'm so proud. Don't want to push her to that point again though. She was really crabby at the end. Wanted a piece of a rottie and another dog on our way out. HAd to apologize profusely especially to the rottie owner. well, when she gets to the point of wanting to get into the faces of every dog that got too close, definitely time to take her out to the vehicle. tried to see if anyone knew of any tracking clubs but with little success. Schultzhund is not an option for Pooh and her hip dysplasia.

Hey Loop, and Poohbear, glad you made it out to the Pet Expo. You guys were the Petsmo 'presence'. I was unable to make it because I had a medical emergency a few weeks ago and it laid me low for a little bit (thanks to all those who sent me good wishes) Anyway, I have an idea for an event in the lower mainland which will help fundraise for some local shelters, and which could possibly become an annual event if 'we' can tie it all together. I might need your help with this guys, so stay tuned.

oh Robbie... I'm sorry to hear you've not been well. I trust you're being well looked after on the road to recovery, as best that is possible. I'm most certainly keen to help with anything that means homeless animals will benefit!

I also attended Pet Expo on Saturday with my wife and our Miniature Pinscher 'Morgan'. As a media photographer, I was pre-granted media accreditation status. It was a fun time and we also met lots of beautiful dogs and their owners.
